Kate Melnick

Originally from Connecticut, I graduated in May 2026 with my B.S. in Equine Science from Colorado State University. While at CSU, I gained an interest in research and participated in several research studies conducted at the Equine Teaching and Research Center. I also worked in the Equine Performance Analysis Facility of the CSU Equine Orthopaedic Research Center, where I honed in on my passion for Equine Exercise Physiology and the health of the equine athlete. I am currently a graduate student under Dr. Sally Johnson, studying Equine Exercise Physiology.
