    Researchers in the Ealy Lab investigate why large percentages of cattle pregnancies are lost in the earliest stages and work to uncover the biological reasons behind those losses. They also focus on improving embryo transfer methods to improve the production of healthy, high-merit embryos created through ovum pickup and in vitro fertilization.

Their vision laid the foundation for today's National FFA Organization, with more than 1 million members in 9,400 chapters across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, including more than 14,000 in Virginia.
