Hokies compete in annual Academic Quadrathlon
October 27, 2025
On Saturday, October 25, nearly 50 undergraduate students across 12 teams competed in the Virginia Tech annual Academic Quadrathlon, testing their animal science knowledge and teamwork across four rigorous events: practical stations, a written exam, oral presentations, and a team quiz bowl.

Seeing so many students jump in and give it their all — especially after an overtime Hokie win – shows the energy and enthusiasm our students bring to Animal Sciences.
The School of Animal Sciences extends gratitude to everyone who helped plan, organize, and promote this year's Quadrathlon — and to all the students whose teamwork and Hokie pride made the competition such a success.
