Binod Pokhrel

My name is Binod Pokhrel, and I am originally from Nepal, a beautiful country nestled in the Himalayas. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Animal Sciences at Virginia Tech. Under the guidance of my advisor, Dr. Honglin Jiang, I study the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate rumen growth and development in ruminants. My research focuses on understanding how nutritional factors influence rumen epithelial development and function using animal models, molecular, cellular and genomic approaches.
