Nikki Banou Tabatabai

Nikki is a first-generation Iranian-American graduate student pursuing an M.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences under Dr. Vitor Mercadante at Virginia Tech. During her undergraduate studies, she engaged in a variety of research projects at Virginia Tech, cultivating a strong passion for reproduction, embryology, and IVF. Upon completing her graduate studies, Nikki aims to become an Embryologist. She envisions applying her skills and knowledge to support the reproductive health of marginalized communities. Nikki has earned a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences with a minor in Biology at Virginia Tech.
