I am originally from Mt. Airy, Maryland and earned my B.S. in Dairy Science at Virginia Tech in 2024. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I was involved in a National Service Sorority, the Pre-Vet Club, the Dairy Judging Team, as well as working as a research assistant for several labs. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong interest in animal nutrition through working in several labs. This passion led me to pursue a master’s degree at Virginia Tech, where I am currently working under the guidance of Dr. Osorio. My research focuses on understanding the effects of carnosic acid, a natural antioxidant found in rosemary, on dairy cattle.
