Naa Adei Kotey-Williams

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Dr. Robin White’s lab in the School of Animal Sciences at Virginia Tech. I received my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with a major in Animal Science, from the University of Ghana. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted research assessing the effects of fiber-degrading enzymes in corn-cob-based diets for laboratory rats. After graduating, I worked as a research assistant at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and later as a Communications Executive at Agro Kings Ltd.

I have a strong interest in sustainable animal production and improving animal productivity. My current research focuses on strategies to reduce the environmental impact of ruminant production systems.
