I am a PhD student in Dr. White’s Lab at Virginia Tech’s School of Animal Sciences. I hold a bachelor’s of science degree in agriculture from the University of Ghana, majoring in animal science. During my undergraduate degree, I undertook a research project on the use of fiber degrading enzymes in corn-cob-based diets for laboratory rats. After graduating, I worked as a research assistant at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and later as a Communications Executive at Agro Kings Ltd.
My current research interests are in animal nutrition, feeding strategies and precision agriculture and sustainability.
