I am originally from Maryland where my interest in the dairy industry was sparked by joining 4-H and showing dairy cows throughout high school. In May of 2023, I received my B.S. in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech. During my time as an undergraduate student, I was involved with the dairy club, dairy judging, an agricultural sorority, and worked in a lab and at the dairy farm.

I am now pursuing an M.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences with Dr. Corl. My research focuses on Lactation Physiology and improving lactation persistency by investigating mechanisms that affect mammary cell shedding into milk in dairy cows.
