I am a Non-Thesis Master's Student from Chesapeake, Virginia and I work with Dr. Alan Ealy. I have been working alongside Dr. Ealy and others within his lab since 2023 as an undergraduate student. I was fortunate enough to work within his lab my senior year as a fellow for the John Lee Pratt Fellowship Program. The project was focused on Improving Ovum Pickup and Embryo Yields in Cattle- my role within this project was primarily focused with follicular fluid metabolomics.

I grew up showing horses competitively- leading to my love of large animals and livestock. Due to the nature of my hometown, I was not given much experience in agricultural production. Once I came to Virginia Tech for my Undergraduate Degree, I knew I wanted to get involved in research involving cattle.

I graduated with my Degree in Animal Sciences in May of 2024, and I am a proud Double Hokie! I have been working closely with the Ealy lab to learn multiple skills during my time as a Graduate Student. I have been studying the practice of In-Vitro Production of bovine embryos and refining my skills and knowledge in regard to Ovum Pickup in cattle.
