Alexandra Webster

Alexandra (Allie) Webster is a native of Concord, MA and more recently relocated to Vinton, VA. Allie earned her B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2023 and is now pursing her master's degree under Dr. Robin White. She started riding horses at 10 years old and has been involved in the equine industry ever since. Her interest in equine nutrition sparked after she purchased her gelding and progressed even further during her time as an undergraduate student. Her current projects involve an equine digestibility meta-analysis, spectral sensing for dried forage nutrient composition, and body condition scoring livestock with a thermal camera.
