Originally from northern Virginia, I began my academic journey in 2020 as a freshman majoring in Animal and Poultry Sciences. Growing up with many house cats, I initially aspired to pursue small animal veterinary studies. However, exposure to livestock management and handling through my studies sparked a passion for the dynamic and endearing world of cattle. After graduating with a specialization in beef cattle, I gained practical experience working in forage and soil laboratories.
Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in beef nutrition under the guidance of Dr. Robin White. My research focuses on real-world applications, collaborating closely with extension agents and cattle farmers across the state to enhance pasture and animal management practices.
