Seth Heitman

I am from Lake City Minnesota, and received my undergraduate degree in animal science, with a focus on production dairy, from the University of Minnesota. While there I was able to aide in research related to rumen microbiome as well as manure output calculation. My family and I own and operate a Jersey and Holstein farm, with genetics focused on show type to exhibit on the national scale. My current research is focused around advancing precision feeding models for dairy cows. Centering around sensing rumen volume via proxy parameters, and establishing measurements related to VFA interconversion and its methods of infusion.
