Erollykens Ferreira Santos

I am from Brazil and earned my B.S. in Animal Science at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) in 2022. From 2023 to 2025, I completed my M.S. in Ruminant Nutrition in the Department of Animal Science at UFV.
In 2024, I joined Washington State University as a research intern in the Department of Animal Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Marcos Marcondes, whose research focuses on dairy cattle nutrition and management, and also served as an intern in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Caio Figueiredo, whose research emphasizes uterine diseases and reproductive efficiency in dairy cattle.
Beginning in Fall 2025, I will pursue my Ph.D. in Animal and Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech under the supervision of Dr. Rodrigo Marques. My main areas of interest are beef and dairy cattle nutrition.
