Megan Beight

Non-thesis M.S. Student
  • Reproductive Physiology

My name is Megan Beight. I am originally from Northeast Ohio, where I grew up in a small rural area. I earned my B.S. in Animal and Poultry Science at Virginia Tech in the spring of 2025. While my original goal was to attend vet school immediately after completing my bachelor's degree, life had other plans. I became involved in undergraduate research, and through previous classes I learned that I had a strong interest in reproduction. This led me to pursue my non-thesis master’s degree at Virginia Tech. I will be working under the guidance of Dr. Alan Ealy in the School of Animal Sciences, studying reproductive physiology.
