Dr. Alan Ealy

I grew up on a small cow-calf operation in Northwest Tennessee, and I was heavily involved in showing cattle nationwide. I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, for my bachelor's degree and majored in Animal Science. I stayed at UT and completed my master's in Animal Science with an emphasis in Reproductive Physiology.

I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Dr. Ealy's laboratory, where I study pregnancy loss and embryonic development in cattle. Specifically, my research focuses on maternal and embryo-derived factors during the second and third weeks of pregnancy.
