- Ruminant Nutrition
I am from Brazil and graduated in Animal Science from the Federal University of Viçosa in 2024. During my undergraduate studies, I was part of a ruminant nutrition laboratory focused on evaluating feed resources and nutrient requirements of cattle in tropical environments.
At Virginia Tech, I am pursuing a master’s degree under the supervision of Dr. Rodrigo Marques. My research focuses on ruminant nutrition and physiology, and I am particularly interested in learning more about nutritional strategies to improve cattle production systems.
