Meghan Dillon
Non-thesis M.S. Student
My name is Meghan Dillon and I am a first year non-thesis master's student working with Dr.Wood. I am originally from New Hampshire but came to Virginia Tech for my undergraduate studies in APSC and just recently graduated in May. I am currently interested in the field of animal welfare and behavior as well as the research involving welfare of shelter animals. After completing my master's degree I plan to work in research before applying for veterinary school. I ultimately want to specialize in animal welfare in order to ensure the continuation of proper ethics in animal medicine throughout the country.
